Community guidelines

These guidelines apply to the Crestfall Studio Discord server and every community space Crestfall Studio runs. The Discord server's pinned rules mirror this page; where they differ, this page wins.

What this place is for

Building characters, worlds, and stories, and helping each other build better ones. Share your work. Ask how someone got a result. Trade prompts and settings. Cheer people on. This is a workshop, not a debate stage.

Age

Everyone here is 18 or older. No exceptions.

How we treat each other

• Critique that helps is welcome: what works, what you would change, and how. "The hand is wrong" on its own is not feedback.
• No mocking, pile-ons, or bullying. Every image here has flaws, including yours.
• No harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, or jokes about hurting real people.
• Do not rate characters or images as if they were made for your attraction. Nobody's work is here for that.
• No politics, no religion.
• English only for now. We cannot moderate other languages yet.

Content and stories

• Stories can go up to R, never past it, always with taste: violence, romance, and adult language between adult characters.
• Crestfall Studio does not make pornography. Neither does this server. There is no NSFW channel, and nothing sexual or nude is posted here in any form.
• Instant ban, no warning: any minor in a sexual or suggestive context, any real identifiable person in an intimate scene, nonconsensual content, bestiality, or anything illegal under US law.
• Art and screenshot channels are for images made in Crestfall Studio only. No outside images, no photos.
• Do not post work you do not own. That includes another member's Crestfall creation shared without their permission.
• Graphic violence outside the story channels goes behind Discord's spoiler tag (the hide-until-clicked cover) so nobody sees it by accident.
• If the rules do not name your case, the spirit of the rules still applies. Staff rule and the ruling stands.

Channels

Every channel has a pinned purpose. Art goes in art, questions in help, stories in stories. Staff move or remove posts that are in the wrong place.

Spam and self-promotion

• No spam, mass pings, or posting the same thing in several channels.
• No advertising other servers, products, or services. Invite links you were not cleared to post trigger an automatic timeout.
• Approved affiliates and creators may share their own Crestfall work in the channels made for it. That is an arrangement with the Crestfall Studio team, not a general permission.

Integrity and security

• Do not impersonate staff, moderators, or members, and do not claim to speak for Crestfall Studio.
• No talk of hacking, exploits, jailbreaks, or getting around safety limits, here or on any platform.

Reporting

Message a moderator or post in the report channel. Do not argue it out in public or mass-ping. For problems with the platform itself, use https://crestfallstudio.com/report.

Enforcement

• The instant-ban list, harassment, threats, and doxxing: banned on the spot, no warning.
• Everything else: a warning or timeout at staff discretion, not guaranteed. Repeat problems end in a ban.
• Dodging a ban with another account bans both.
• No formal appeals yet. Decisions are final.

Changes

These rules change as the community grows. The current version always lives at https://crestfallstudio.com/legal/community. Staying here means you accept it, and not reading it does not excuse breaking it.
